- East Lake is a census-designated place, not a city, so it has no town government and no municipal register of its own. It sits in Pinellas County and shares a mailing identity with both Palm Harbor and Tarpon Springs depending on the street, which is why so much search data about it ends up filed under the wrong town.
- Most of 34688 is gated, and the gates are the real scheduling constraint. Some communities need a vendor registered with the association in advance, some issue a barcode or transponder instead of a code, and a few want the homeowner to call the guard house on the day. All three are fine. Finding out which one applies while standing at the gate is not.
- Crescent Oaks sits inside 34688 with a Tarpon Springs mailing address. It is a good example of why a ZIP code describes this area more reliably than a town name does.

- Lansbrook itself is Palm Harbor 34685, immediately south, and the two areas share a road network and a school catchment. If your address reads Palm Harbor while everything around you reads East Lake, that is why. It makes no difference to what we charge.
- East Lake Woodlands
- Despite the name, it is in Oldsmar 34677, and outside the City of Oldsmar as well: residents voted against annexation, so it is unincorporated Pinellas County. Our Oldsmar page sets it out in full, and the rates are the same.
